I have a question about the size of the corners and J-channel for my siding. The siding is 1/2" thick, and the corners/J-channels I have are 5/8". My wife wants me to change the siding color, or to dutch lap. The issue I have is if I change to dutch lap only the siding is on back order. If I change the color and to dutch lap the 5/8" corners and J-channels are on back order. Can I use the 3/4" corners and j-channels with the 1/2" thick siding? or will it look like **** with the extra 1/8" of gap?
