I have white vinyl siding on the interior walls of my garage.
Easy to clean and the construction company told me that I could wash my car in my garage in the winter. Have done that one time and now i go to the car wash.
The negative thing about it that it looks boring!!!
I'm jealous when I see the nice garages who has painted gyps walls.

Is there somebody who could give me some ideas to remove the boring looking garage walls.

eh... removing the vinyl would be the last option.

thanks

Your question/statement is an oxymoron. Do you want to remove it or not, it's the only way. You can't put anything on it, not really paintable, and you can't go over it. Peel it off and drywall it.

I think boring would be an understatement....for some reason I can hear the builder laughing as he tells his friends how he talked you into it....

Just rip it off...put up drywall....paint it with a good exterior high gloss paint.....if exterior paint is ok for the outside of you house to get rained on...it will be ok for it to get a little wet when you wash the car.

And....it will be a lot easier to hang stuff on the wall...

This sounds like a possible building code violation to me. Especially if the garage is attached to the house. Vinyl siding is highly flammable and puts off very toxic fumes and gases when it burns.

I too have exterior siding in my garage.

I went with T1-11 plywood sheeting, which is an exterior grade siding. I can wash a car in there too if I want to...although I never have and don't suppose I ever will.

I have to agree that vinyl siding would be a bad choice for interior use. Heck, I don't even like it for siding...even though that's what I have on much of the outside of my garage.

why don't you get to work on something, quit looking at the walls and being bored? The problem wiht the wall is you have too much time on your hands.
