hi all trying to figure out how many pieces i need to compleate my shed.

sideing i am looking at comes in 12 ft lenths and is 10" wide

my shed is square 8x8 with 7 foot walls , but i also need to cover the 2x6 joists so i'm looking about 8x8x8

i know i will need a bit more to do above the walls once roof is installed but just for the walls ?

only cutouts will be 1 window 32x16 and a standard door 34" wide

17 pieces. Less than a box, but go ahead and buy an entire box.

thats all i need ? , a box here is 22 pieces i belive. would have thought alot more then that around 25-30 ok.... thanks for the quick reply

Buy it by the square, the big box stores will let you return unused pieces if you have any left.

ok thanks all , i won't be buying the siding untill end of month so just looking to get an idea
