Vinyl Sleeves?

Anybody got a source?

But I do not know if it is legit or not ("NTP•Republic"?), or if they sell to individuals.

I have a steel rule that could use a sleeve.

Id sew one using heavy canvas, or leather. Not vinyl.

I agree with ard.
It would be a pretty simple sewing project for someone into crafts.
Check you local paper for a crafts show or a farmers market.

You might even get a chance for some custom name or such sewn in.

Old blue jeans would give you a recycle bonus.

This guy will make you anything you want out of cordura. You can email for custom stuff. Price is not bad. He has made me several custom items to house tools I carry on my motorcycle. May not be applicable, but though I'd share it.

Maybe the company you found can send you a "sample" in the size you need.

I would look at making one from kydex, its pretty simple to work with and almost indestructible.
Lots of guys make holsters from it, may find a custom guy on a gun forum.
