vinyl sticker on acid stain

im going to stain my floors, and instead of grinding out and staining the designs, is it possible to put down stickers on the floor before applying a top coat? im wanting a bowtie and blue oval in each bay. im open to all suggestions

Yes tremman you can do this.
However, I am not a big fan of burying decals under epoxy/ urethane.
Potential for delamination and dreaded bubbles under the decal.

I think you are better off staining, sealing and placing a decal designed for exterior use right on the floor. It can be removed or updated later if need be.

Yes. Paint your design, seal with clear wb epoxy and topcoat with urethane.

Why not use a pigmented urethane? I did an acid stained shop floor with a bow tie. I used a 4" grinder with a flat blade for the outline, and stained the inside with a darker stain. You could use an aqua color if you want to, but there is no rich blue with acid. As far as the oval goes, thats a little tougher. You could always laminate the vinyl between 2 coats of sealer. I'm not a fan of sticking vinyl directly to concrete, but it's not a problem if you sandwich it and seal with a urethane.
