Vinyl tile edges?

For interlocking vinyl tile on garage floors, I would naturally add edges to those tiles at the entrance to the driveway. Do you also use edges on the sides of the tiles next to the walls or just trim them? Thanks

You can do it either way. Some people like to add edges all the way around and then paint the small area of exposed concrete to match. Others have trimmed them and then installed coping that the trimmed edges run under to give it the full floor length look. Here is a recent thread about that. It's completely up to you.

In my experience there are two ways people will go. If you are doing wall to wall interlocking garage floor tile then the only place you will need the edging is at the front edge or any other transitions. Since you likely will have to trim the tile, there is no real way to get edges on after it is trimmed anyway.

A second option is a garage floor pad. A garage floor pad is an installation where you install the flooring in the center of garage or in some cases on one side or another. In this case you would use edges and corners all the way around.
