I saw one of those "Pink Boxes" at Sears the other day, sadly the nicest box there, found out its made by Viper, and looks identical to my older Montezuma 72" roll cab which was made before they started using the newer style handles.

I am looking for a 26" roll cab mainly to organize a grade 8 nut and bolt assortment in the small drawers and store power tools in the bigger drawers. any reason not to get one? price is right.

I have been very impressed with Viper boxes. So much so I have ordered a small one for a road box. They would be my box of choice if I were looking right now. Only thing I don't like is the lack of small drawers.

cool, any idea if the larger drawers have double slides? they don't show any pictures of them open.

My Sears has a Small 2 piece stack. The quality seems to be very nice, much much better than any of the Craftsman boxes that store has. My only gripe is the top box is VERY shallow. when it is pushed all the way to the back of the Bottom box it has a 6" or so gap to the front.

From what I can tell, Viper, Montezuma, and several other brands all have the same OEM. I'm very impressed, and plan on buying a 72" box from them.

I don't think the 26" boxes have any double slides. The 72" does on several drawers, and they make a note that he weight capacity is double in those drawers.

The pink box has 100lb slides, whereas the craftsman have 50lb an 75lb slides. Those Viper boxes at Sears remind me of the older Menards Masterforce boxes, I'd bet they were made by the same co.

I got the green one at sears too. Top and bottom box were on sale. I love it. The drawers seem to pull smoother than the craftsmans. Plus it looks sweet.

this is what I was wondering since the aluminum handles are identical. I have OCD and if all my handles match, that's great. I've had my 72" box since 2008 and I'd put it up against any of the big tool truck brands.

the double slides I am no so concerned with capacity as I am side to side movement. I was showing my fiance in Sears that the telltale sign of a cheap box is when the drawers wobble side to side when open. heaviest thing it will hold will probably be a router or a tray of bolts.
