Vise grease

Maybe this has been asked but just curious what kind of grease I should use for a vise. I'm doing my first restoration on a Desmond Simplex No. 400 vise.

WW: might i suggest you read some of the vise repair 101 thread and on post #5 there is a list of some of the grease the other members and I use.

good luck and post up a few pictures of your vise when you have time. also the more pictures and comments that you can post the better your answers will be.
