Vise Grip Adapter for Slide Hammer

I did a fair amount looking on the web with no luck and hoping that someone may have good solution. The adapter would need to fit Snap On’s small slide hammer (CB93b?). The problem is I believe the threads for that model are 3/8” and all I have been able to find are fittings for the larger 5/8” thread size. Any held would be tremendously appreciated!

Yeah, or just buy some threaded rod that fits the vise grip (easy to do, it's coarse thread) and then weld a coupling for threaded rod (or 1-2 nuts, easier to find for the FT) that match the slide hammer.

Or weld a rod right on a pair of china grip for better geometry (parrallel to the jaws) and retain the female fine thread on the other end for your hammer.

OTC 6627 is a 3 pc kit that have adapter for 7/16-14, 5/16-18 and 1/4-20

- The female end for the puller is 5/8"-18
- The male end for the locking pliers is 7/16"-14

I really appreciate all of the responses, once I get the tool in my hands I will confirm the thread/pitch. I’m just concerned the this smaller hammer won’t accommodate the standard otc attachments.

I just welded a nut to the adjuster on my vise grips, done couple that way, been using them for 20 years
