Vise help please. German designed, shear pin?

I have an unknown brand vise of around 5” with a funky design with the nicely supported dynamic jaw is in the rear and moves towards the work surface. I have had it for most of a year and am pressing it into service finally. First time I used it I felt the onset of pretty strong vertigo yet I think it will be great for the hand work I’ll be using it for.

Question for folks who may know: brand Identification? I’m missing a pin, I assume one designed to shear if the rather massive lead screw and nut get over tightened. This vise is missing it. I have. 6 mm dowel pin in there now and wonder if anyone could clue me in to what is supposed to go in the tail of this vise?

It might be a Leinen.

Schlegel, Gressel, and Boley, are some of the other brands that made similar vises.
There are now also Asian copies.

Looks like there is a letter S or maybe a 5 on the side of the static jaw tower. Take a close up pic of that.

I believe this wise came over our n a container from Germany in the middle d 1980s. I’m more confident of it coming from Germany than the date. My sons worked for the German company I got it from. It seems marked with an s
