I inherited a Wilton vise from my grandfather. I do not know anything about it except for that it was bought most likely in the 60-70's according to my father.

I would like to sell it because I have no use for another vise and it is just too big to fit my workbench.

Can anybody help me ID the vise and possibly give me an estimate on its value? The vise turns but might benefit from some oiling if that matters.

Thank you.

I’m guessing it would bring a quick 100 in SoCal. Maybe even up to 150 if you can wait a while?

Medium duty mechanics vise, I have a couple nicer ones on CL right now for less than $100, not much interest around here.

It's granddad's vise...you'll only get the opportunity to own it once...

I'd suggest you put it up on the shelf and think about it for a little while before you sell it. But I'm a more sentimental fella.

You might be on to something here. I'll keep it for a while I guess. Thanks MayerMR
