I ran across this. Any idea what it is. USA or China. I guess it's missing the base. Is it worth buying for $25 to try to flip.

It looks like an old Walworth brand vise. As you suspect, it's missing a base plate and there's a chip under the jaw pad. Not a big deal though. I'd buy it and use it for 25 bucks.

Not the best candidate to flip, with the broken jaw ledge. That style vise used a threaded rod with a nut under the bench to lock the swivel, sometimes with a plate with notches to lock the vise. If you want that type vise to use, buy it, but might be a risky flip.

This is the worst candidate for a flip. If you want a 25 dollar beater vise for welding or such, this would work. Otherwise, save your money.

That might be a good welding bench vise.......if you were to clean it up a little, you might be able for flip it for.....well....maybe $26 or $27?
