Wooden is an English brand. Not sure of they have imports now too. I had a big six incher. Actually kind of light for how big it was overall.

I have a Record 34p but I wouldn’t mind another vise.
For $60 seems like it’s an ok deal.

I love the old English vises. I have Paramo, Record, and Wooden. I feel they are all about the same build quality, which is high. You couldn't stop me from buying that vise for $60 if it was anywhere near me.

I've never seen a Woden vice in the States, but it looks similar in quality to the other big names: Record and Paramo. Certainly worth $60

Woden vises are pretty well made. Interestingly, on that series the swivel base is a separate 2 piece standalone assembly that bolts to the bottom of a stationary vise.
