Picked up this unmarked vise and am hoping it’s American. Tube style, brass jaws and heavy brass tailpiece. Looks like an aluminum body. Steel tubes. 3.25” jaws. Knurled grips on the handle. Any ideas?B26DEC1B-6E05-4ECF-8485-0C7E9CCC40DF.jpegF4F9AA3C-E103-4E9A-B5DC-0434C5194F09.jpeg

Interesting one, perhaps shop-made? Maybe from a high school metal shop where they would buy/pour the casting and then machine it for the "assignment"? If it is aluminum that would be an even stronger possibility...

I checked the video spreadsheet, and the only brass entry was for a custom made, so I am leaning with SweetD.

Shop project but nice, what does it weigh? And cost if you don't mind?
I'd find use for it.
