I need help identifying a vise I have that broke last year. The only visible marking that I have found is the BIG number 5 on the side of it. Also, is there a Vise Repair Person Extraordinaire on the forum? TIA

That looks like an inexpensive imported vise, probably made in China.
As for repairing the vise, it looks like a pin may have sheared that was holding the handle onto the vise screw.
If the other sections of pin can be forced out of the screw and handle section, you may be able to insert a new pin to get the vise functioning again.

I've fixed a few vises before. Unfortunately that one isn't really worth the cost to repair. If I was mine, and if I'm looking at it right, I would buy a tapered pin and reattach the spindle to the threaded rod that way. Drill the right size hole, use a tapered reamer next and then install the pin with green loctite 609 or 680 or equivalent. Next day, cut and remove the excess pin sticking out and reassemble vise.

Where is a good place to purchase vise parts? Or would the part(s) have to be machined?
If it’s just a pin that broke, quality industrial suppliers like MSC, Grainger, and McMaster-Carr usually have metal rod or metal dowel pins that might work.
Ebay is also sometimes a good option.
Otherwise you would beed to replace the vise screw, and usually only long term vise manufacturers offer those for their vises, so not really an option for an off brand import.
