It seems pretty old and all the threads are SAE. I have no idea who the manufacturer is.

Oh gotcha. It really threw me off because I don’t recall ever seeing a made in USA vise that didn’t have branding on it. It seems that the unmarked vises are only modern Chinese manufactured ones

Doc: some big vise companies made vises for other big companies that wanted a line of vises to go along with their other tools hence Morgan (most likely candidate) making vises for STANDARD.

Wilton made and makes vises for Snap on, John Deere and other big companies in it's last almost 80 years of business.

I had a Standard vise and I think my old honda mechanic got it as a gift as I recall

I’ll take a guess at your vise being a Prentiss. If you can post the width of the jaws and another pic of the bottom of vise and side of jaws maybe I or another member can make a better guess or give you a make and model # too.

It looks like the swivel jaw’s pin was replaced with a bolt but that’s fairly common cause a lot of pins are mia. Some prior owners threaded the pin hole but it was originally just a drop in and pull out pin.

I gave it a bath and did some wire brushing and this is what I found. You were 100% right by the way thanks. ce51bf24ee02c7680322865b9ae387d3.jpg8000b52210f1b98ae754839b8718ccc9.jpge0909fc5e042bfb2f60487d51373dab7.jpg363c1482c7750b2e84a48fbf407d8d32.jpg18b6dc18e7a96c5375c5b3265d0bc1da.jpgd0bbfa88549f55c8a57b191c80d3f475.jpg

Doc it turns out to be a Prentiss. Exactly which one I have no idea. All of the id marks are beat up and/or worn.

Per your first picture 4-1/2"
which matches with the #3 vise in this pic.

Unbranded vises have been around forever. Here's a discussion of one of mine:

We never did come to a consensus on who actually built it, but Prentiss seemed to be the favorite.

It wAs stamped Prentiss NY behind the swivel jaw where the small anvil or flat part of vises is. I posted a pic up top in the string after I clean it up a bit. Now what model I have no idea everything is pretty badly beaten lol. Also posted those pics. Thanks for your help
