Hope everyone is staying warm tonight.
Went to an estate sale today for some 90 some year old gentleman. He had some very interesting and old tools. I picked up a few things but my wife just had to have this. No idea what it is. It's about 3 1/2" tall and the cylinder is held in place by a pretty strong spring. It has graduations on both sides and a mark at the top of a N in a circle and a 2.
Any ideas?

TIA

Hammer strike crimper. Used for heavy duty cables, like welding leads.
