Vise question #1 Simplex 500

Hi,
I've fixed up this Simplex Utility 500 vise. It has a small crack that is the subject of my question. Specifically is this a bad crack that could get worse or is it not much to worry about?

what type of work will you be doing with it?

If you look, there is jaw misalignment also. I think that crack is related, suspect someone forced it to the point the slide started to crack out of the dynamic jaw, Sadly, IMO, it's fatal, unless another jaw can be found.
