hey guy's been looking for a vise here and there just wanted to get some imput on what you guy's might say this one is worth so i know if it's a good deal or not.

i figure if i can get it for less then a shitholy vise from a big box store i should probably go for it but i really don't know anything about vise's other than i want one

Decent medium duty vise. I've had one, or maybe just a tad bigger as a user for years. I'd say $50 - $75 if no issues.

they have a stamped sheet metal slide which is their biggest downside, but they are still tough vises. I have bought a couple and sold them all for profit.

thanks guy's that's right around the price range this one is going for do you think it's a better choice then something i could get at lowes or HD

yes it's a better choice than a new one for the same price. check it out and make sure it doesn't have any cracks or weld repairs and if it checks out you will have a decent vise to use.

don't use it as an anvil (use a piece of RR track) or a press (buy a press or use a friend's) and it should out live you.
