They still make new ones, so if you're set on getting a Yost take the price of a new one into consideration.
Lots of factors go into "what it's worth", even what area you're in. We could maybe suggest a value with some pictures, but there's no set in stone value

If you guys have never used this before, it's a great function. O.P., I'm just poking a little fun. like I said earlier, there's no straightforward guideline and googling seems to really only show new prices. Depending on condition and age, I would bet $100 or less is pretty fair for a quality 4" vise. Depending on how badly you need one, that is.

Have you any larger photo's? Those are too small to make out. Regarding value, there is no hard and fast rule. It generally boils down to whatever price you're personally happy to pay. The whole $1 per lb rule and similar are meaningless in reality. There are tight arses who will hold out until they drop across the bargains, and then there are people who pay more realistic money for something they want/need. Which way you go is upto you. If you like and want that vice and you're happy with the price, then that's a good price.

This looks like the vise in question from a craigslist ad. I like the older Yosts like this one better than the newer styles. I think $150 is way too high though.

i would top out at $150. Nothing else on the market that good in that price range...

I'd inspect it very closely with much trepidation. It screams of a beater that got an OK paint job. Looks like there is a chunk out of the LHS (facing vise) of the slide, towards the dynamic jaw tower top. Based on that I think ~1/2 of that is more accurate.

The modern production 204's are different and dare I say nicer for a shop vise.
