Lost my old vise in a house fire..
I'm keeping an eye out on CL, but does anyone make a vise these days worth owning?

Wilton (US), Yost (US) make very nice vises, with a price to match. I would keep looking at CL for a quality used US made one. They are out there.

Must have been a hell of a house fire to damage a vise past cleanup and reuse...

It was a cheap Lowe's vise and I didn't feel like tearing it down and rebuilding it since it wasn't that great to begin with.
