Hi guys,
I just picked up a vise and wondered if anyone knows much about it. It's a chase parker no 953 1/2. Anyone know what year it could be from?

A picture would help! But I have a no. 955 that dates to the late 40s. The end where the handle is cylindrical, not ball shaped. Here's a pic of mine.

I think Parker disappeared in the mid/late 50's so at least that old. I think the 9xx series carried a 1930 Pat date, so that give you a bracket.
