A little beside the point but a guy I worked with a few years ago was the county'snuisancetrapper as a side job. One day the local police dept called him at the lumber yard where we worked, they gave him an address and said to come there right now. They said to put the boss on the phone and they would square it with him so the guy wouldn't get in trouble for leaving work early. He goes to the address and it is a drug bust in progress. The drug dealers have their stash protected protected by a couple of rattlesnakes, a couple of copperheads and a COBRA. He proceeds to catch the snakes (turns out the cobra was dead, at least thats his story and it was dead when I saw it). Rattlesnakes are protected in Ohio so he couldn't just kill them in front of the cops. Did I mention this happened in January so he made the 60 mile trip to the Cleveland zoo with a burlap bag full of poisonous snakes on the front seat of his truck because if he would have put them in the bed they would have frozen to death and probably got him into more trouble than the drug dealers were in. He did have alot of fun walking around the lumber yard scaring people with that dead cobra though.

little known secret, a shedding from a snake ( the old skin) is great to put in old cars that are stored for a long time ...it keeps the mice out 100% naturally!!!! put it under the seats and up under sun visors too.(learned this the hard way:)
i have a boa constrictor for over 20 yrs and realized that the minute a rodent smells the shed they move far away from it. if you cant find sheds around the home go to a pet shop they always have some ... good luck.mike.

Been seeing the title of this thread. Never read it..........TILL NOW. OMG, I scream like a girl seeing snakes!!!!!!!!!!!

I live in Iowa and we see little gardner snakes. Harmless! Don't care though, they get the shovel if they are still around when I go to get it!!!!!!!!!

As for the mention of ****. See them all the time. They look and run away.......Don't bother me at all.....Snakes don't run away.........
Injuries from tools? My control and my own fault. 99.9% hurt for a minute then stop. Snake bites are a little different...........
