so it looks like unless I'm buying a mechanic tool set, its worthless.

In the past, they have worked on any purchase, regardless of what they say. I haven't tried with these points yet, but its worth a shot.

Mine have always worked on anything. I once got an email with $7 in points to use in jewelry and I used them on a pack of screwdrivers.

I got an email that said if I redeemed my points, I could get $10 of points to use on an automotive purchase. I tried to buy some wrenches but they never showed up. I added in a jump starter and it showed up at final checkout. When I took the jump starter out of my cart, the extra points went away.

It appears to work on any tools.

I just put a small $13 socket set in my cart and tried checkout. When I clicked the button to use SWYR points, it added an extra $5 worth.

It does work on tools other than the mechanics set because I just used it for a hand impact driver.

Strange, I got the email, but can't get the points to show up anywhere in my cart......any ideas?


Got it fixed, had to log out, log in, clear everything and finally stuff started showing up. Clunky website...

Just bought a small strap wrench and circular level ($6.50) for free with the $5 and some points redeemed. Ready for pickup.

So I guess I dont know what I am doing differently then others, or sears has fixed this freebie issue.

Adding a hammer to my cart for pickup (20 bucks), and its only applying 2 bucks of points that I had earned?

Tried logging out and back in but no go..

Suggestions?

Tried emptying my cart then logging out. added item to cart then logged in....and it worked???
