however I was disappointed in the judging, I spent the time to fill out each question and attempted to be witty in the response. But when I see a few of the entries with not all of the questions filled out, and single sentence answers, it leads me to believe that there was no judging.....

Maybe I'm just green with envy?

I wasn't going to ask for votes to begin with, but I saw that some of the other contestants were doing it, and felt that I needed to level the playing field.

Are you sure yours isn't there, there are 2 pages of entries. I was also surprised to see some entries that clearly were not well thought out or even complete. *shrug*

Don't know you personally, but you're a fine standing GJ member so I gave you a 10. Because then I can say I know this guy, and he owes it all to me for casting that last vote that tipped the scale!

Sure I would, in this or any other contest. I voted for a few other contestants as well when the voting went live. I then noticed that it said you can ask friends to vote for you, and saw that a few others were clearly taking advantage of this permission, hence starting this thread.

In any case, the contest's entry period ended already, so it's a moot point. I posted the entry details on ToolGuyd at the time the contest went live, promoting others to enter, but haven't heard from anyone about their entries being among those of the ~100 finalists.

In all honesty, I'd really love to win the cabinet, but I wouldn't throw TG readers or any other GJ members or friends under a bus to do so.
