VW Poster?

Any help where I can find this 1964 VW ad in large poster size? Like 24" x 48" but clear/touched up to be crisp?

I think Kinkos has the ability to do that and last I checked wouldn't charge too much. I have to go in this week and get my new(to me) Volvo poster laminated and think I'll ask about blowing up my vintage magazine Volvo ad too.

You may want to check with some of the vintage VW parts houses, like WolfsburgWest or Westcoastmetric, sometimes you can buy old VW ad posters from them.

Your best bet is to search online for magazine ads and find the original print of this ad. Buy it, can't be no more then $5-15. Then scan the ad in high rez., you can then enlarge it to the size you are looking at with crisp lines.

Don't know if you can still do it but I used to go to the library and look through old magazines. Life mag. is great because of the large format size. That looks to be a early sixties Bug so it should be easy to find in Life.

You can never "fix" a low rez image and make it look good at a larger size.

I used to have that ad on my wall. I cut it out of an old Life magazine. You'd never get away with that nowdays. I thought it was hilarious.
