We've had one of the three W.T. Tool stores in Charlotte
for more years than I can remember, I know I went there
the first time more than 30 years ago.
I went there this afternoon looking for a tool I need, when
I walked up to the door I saw a sign that said
"This location is CLOSED".
What are we going to do now, there's no place in or near
Charlotte that I know of that sells machine tools and accessories.
I guess there aren't enough businesses that use these kind
of tools to support the business.
It was a great place to shop, they had just about anything
that you might need, now they're gone, I'm going to miss them

I guess now we're stuck with having to buy on-line which I
hate. I much prefer looking at something before I buy it.

Hard to believe a city as big as Charlotte wouldn't have another store selling the same items. Have you checked around Lincolnton and Hickory?

I've been to wholesale tools in Charlotte a few times. I hate to see they closed. They had an ad on Craigslist last week about floor model tools on sale. I didn't realize they were closing. Bummer

We had one here in Indy that I used to shop at reguarly and it closed about a year and a half ago. Not sure why. Seems everything is going to on-line buying now.

Just called their 800 number and was told that the store isn't moving
it's just going away.
She said I was welcome to order on line or from their catalog...

Hard to order from the catalog when they quit mailing them, and would not even give you one when you asked for it in the store. Well, unless you bought $500 worth of merchandise at a time.
