Hi,
First post here but have been a longtime reader/lurker.
This board is where I found out about the IR W7150 and decided to purchase it.
I work on semi-trucks/trailers. I have had the W7150 since May2012 and it's been my favorite tool since I started using it.
Recently I was using it to replace shocks on the steer of a Volvo and it stopped working, I hit the battery button to see what charge I had left, it showed no lights so I put my spare fully charged battery in, still not working.
Then I pushed the battery button on the batt that I just attached(which I know was fully charged) and got no lights again.
I put one battery and then the other in the charger and both did the same thing, a couple of loud beeps and then all green lights come on and stay on.
As I said I know the 2nd batt was fully charged and the one I was using had 2 lights when I started.
It's out of warranty so I'm looking for any wiring diagrams there are of the W7150, I already have the exploded view parts list.
I will be disassembling the impact this afternoon, any advice would be appreciated.
I'm thinking maybe something shorted out because the fwd/rvrs selector got stuck once earlier this week, and the batteries show nothing when the % of charge button is pushed.
