Wago 221 and multiple wires

So the electricians at work have me convinced that wire nuts are out of fashion and I should use Wago 221 connectors instead. Easy to use, easy to reuse, inspectable, supposedly more reliable, whatever.

They seem nice but the problem I see is that 80% of the time when I use wire nuts I'm connecting 3 or more wires together to make a pigtail or something. The Wago connectors are only for splicing two wires. It's nice that one connector works for all size wires, I can't even see the utility of such a connector that just connects two wires. What am I missing?

go to wago.com and you will find many options. I know there are at least 8 conductor versions available.

I've seen wago connectors for 6 conductors. After that I have no idea.

Others answered while I was typing. I've seen them for 1 to 5 conductors. The 1 is for a **** splice.

So instead of having to stock 2 sizes of wire nuts to cover every combination of wire sizes and numbers of wires, instead I have to have a kit of Wagos for 2, 3, 4, wires and so on... and I'm sure I'll run out of the ones I need.... maybe I'll think about it.

what would stop you from running a "Jumper" to another connector and picking up more "slots"?

No reason you can't use a bigger connector...its not like the holes all need to be filled.

I stock push connectors in 2's and 4's. 2's jf space is really tight or it's something like a fixture. 4's otherwise. If I need more, I will either jumper to another or wire nut it
