Wait time to epoxy coat?

Does anyone know the cure time for a new concrete pad before epoxy coating?

30 days from what I've read.

Do a moisture test to make sure you're OK. It could take 30, 60 or more days depending on your climate and how the pad was poured. Duck tape a piece of plastic down to the floor for a day or two and see if any moisture accumulates on the plastic. If not you should be good to go.

Keep in mind too that you dont want it to cure too fast. High heat and arrid places may drie it out too quickly. I sprayed down my concrete with water 2-3 times a day for a couple weeks.

I waited 60 days to do my epoxy coating. Do as SteveL says with the plastic too.

Thanks for the quick response. The garage is complete except for the doors and the floor so drying too quickly shouldn't be a problem (no direct sunlight will hit the concrete).
