Today I was in Wal-Mart and saw the Ever Start jumper for $19.00. They had been $39.95 during the Christmas season. Our store has about two dozen on the shelf.
Last week they were $30.00. I looked at the reviews and they are mixed. I have been interested in a mini jump pack but am not sure if this is one to go with. For the price it could be thought of as a USB power pack that just happens to have jumper cables.

I picked one up today for $19.00. It is charging up tonight and I plan to try it out tomorrow. I will try it on my 5.3 Chevy truck and see just what it has. Maybe the lawnmower as well.

They were on an end cap between the hardware and auto sections. I ran down the battery on my Chevy v-8 truck today and the jumper started it ok. I may pick up another one to leave in the family minivan.

At that price it's not a bad deal even if only used as a USB battery backup

I have been pleased with mine so far. I have jumped several cars with it including a 5.3 Suburban at my Daughters tennis match this week. The look on the owners and onlookers face was priceless.

$29 for me. Still going to pass. I'm in a very hot climate, and I've heard these things don't last long in the glove compartment of a hot car.

Wish these were available in store at my local Walmart. Checked 3 stores at the automobile section and not in stock.

The quality and durability on these things is all over place ! To get a good one, I'll bet it will cost >$50, probably >$80.
