Broke my Lenox cutters first time using them. Snapped the tip off cutting 1.5" pvc drain pipe. I emailed Lenox asking about a warranty, but no response. I will call when I have time.

Just saying for $45 you expect more.

I just tested these out on a couple scraps of PVC - they cut very nice, no effort required at all. They also work well for cutting radiator hoses, etc for the car. For $3 it was great! Check your local WAlly World for the hardware clearance section, which is usually an endcap.

Best example of thread jack ever

The cutters that this thread is discussing are good for the price.

Hmm so I guess this is in-store only? That link shows $15.59 sold by "Bic Warehouse". I guess Walmart doesn't sell them online.

OP here, sorry for late response.

I think I got the only set that was in Flemington NJ store. They had the red clearance price tag of $3.00

IDK if this deal was specific to the Flemington store. I will say that Flemington is the absolute worst Wal Mart ever. The store is very poorly stocked, disorganization galore, and never has any registers open.

The store hardly has any tools at all anyway. I think because it is in a wealthy area and hardly anyone in this area would know a hammer from a screwdriver. All rich yuppies here that buy their windshield wipers at Jiffy Lube for 25 each. Probably get sold a lot of muffler bearings too lol.

This PVC cutter has probably been there since the store opened 4 years ago :)

Thanks. I'll say I agree 100% re. Flemington Wal Mart. HORRIBLE stock management...and that goes for tools as well as household stuff and pharmacy items. Just horrible.

I don't know that I agree with you re. the reason though...The Lowes and Home Depot don't have the same issue with tools..they're stocked well, and if nobody bought them, you'd find deals there, but I can NEVER find the deals from this board in the Flemington hardware stores (Except the Nicholson file sale a few years back).

I think it's more that there just isn't any competition for Wal Mart in the general "Wal-Mart" things, so they don't have to try too hard.
