IMG_2790.jpg. This was a month or so ago and I meant to post it before now. I thought it was pretty awesome. I walked out onto the back patio one day looking for him because he'd been quiet for a few minutes and ran into this. That's a little box that "Santa Claus" brought him last Christmas. It stays in our shop and he had gotten it and drove the power wheel up to "fix" it.

I have all girls 8 ( but my 2 year old loves daddies tools she would rather play with my tools than her toys. Keeps me a little on edge sometimes as she will open my tools box drawers and make a huge mess in there and I keep everything so organized and all my tools are truck brands. But at least she likes them I just clean up when she's done and track everything down.
She loves ratchets and sockets the best it kills me when she throws them or bangs them together and isn't one to listen lol she has her own little box but likes my tools not hers ,she loves the shiney things and expensive she only goes for the good stuff she copies me and works on stuff all the time it's so cute she's daddies girl.

Oh and it's scares the hell out of me when my daughter gets into my screwdriver drawers I'm afraid she will poke her eye out or get impaled.

You're definitely doing something right!

Here's a pic of my 18 month old washing his tractor. It was mine when I was young, all steel. He sees my wash my truck, so now he helps out.

That's some awesome. Back when my son was his age I was doing a massive amount of block n concrete work around the property. I have a picture of him asleep in my open trailer laying on bags of motar and other ****.

But as endearing as the picture is to me. The one that tops it is one I took last October of my now 20yr old boychild tearing apart the motor on a 2015 300 that we built for dodge for SEMA this year. I was too sick to do the work and had him do the entire project. The topper was this was the first time in 12 years of building rides for SEMA we won an award for.

So here's to many years of that with you boy and maybe one day that enthusiasm that you've obviously instilled in him pays off with some huge dividends

Thanks for all the great comments. He's at the age where he makes most projects harder for me. Lol. I don't dare do something without him "helping" me hold something, shine a light or generally be underfoot. I don't mind though, it's worth the extra time having him pal around with me. Plus he gets major P.O. if I leave him out. We unclogged the master bath shower drain tonight and I don't think he'd have been happier if I gave him $100 at the toy store.
