New old guy here. I have a Walker 99 bumper jack I’ve had resealed and cleaned up. Putting it back together and not sure how the safety dogs go back on. Yes should have taken photos when I disassembled it. Any correct photos wound be appreciated.

It’s hard to tell from the picture, but it appears the catch mechanism or the catch flippers themselves are upside down.

Ok. I think I have them correct this time. Appreciate the help guys. If anyone who has one of these antiques let me know if it looks correct now.

As long as it Engages at every Dog on the way up, and disengages as it moves past to the next one it should be correct. It should need to be manually disengaged to lower completely, which should require you to raise the lift arm to take pressure off the dog and then depress the flipper and operating the release.
