Walker Floor Jack Identification

Good Afternoon,

I have been looking at a Walker Floor jack that I am thinking about buying and would like to know the age of the jack and model number. I have been pestering Hiball through emails but could not figure out a way to attach a photo.

So...I thought I would reach out to him here or anyone else that can help out. I only have this one photo. Hopefully it will be sufficient.

It is a 4 ton jack and I am assuming it is a later model (1960's) 884. The owner is asking $200 for the jack. That seems high when compared to some of the $50 and $75 jacks I have seen discussed here but I am not sure.

Any help or information you guys can provide will be much appreciated.

That thing is a monster. If it is a 4 ton and doesn't leak grab it! A $50 jack just doesn't compare. My 2 cents worth. It does look like it is from the 40-50's so a great piece of hardware.

That jack is a dead ringer for my J-134. I don't know how to date it, but the welded steel frame and the plastic release knob make me think it is one of the later models. The older ones had cast frame sides, and metal release knobs.

I would roll it over and look at the bottom of the frames close. It looks like someone has added some reinforcement to the bottom edge of the side frame.

I am very happy with mine.

I think it's a later model too. Where did you say it was?

I have recently obtained one that looks almost identical to the photo. It's covered with surface rust so I can't tell the color. It's a two ton and the tag says model J 1?2 as the second digit is scratched off. I need to buy a seal kit so the model number would be helpful.
