Is anyone familiar with this model? Searching the web comes up with a lot of 740s, 882s and others. But I find nothing on 862. Wondering if there is anything to be concerned with on this model? Are seal kits still available? Roughly, when were 862s made?

Thanks,
Steve

Gotta believe jack mfgers buy O rings like everyone else.
I have a selection of common sizes, they're cheap to buy in sets.

If you clean the tag a bit more you will see that it's a 882, the 8 just looks like a 6. It's a Old jack, still a handful of companies assembling seal kits, make sure you tear into it first prior to buying a kit because it will more than likely need some work on the hard parts/cylinder. There should be a handful of threads pertaining to this jack or its big brother 884 that should get you started.

LOL.. I like the comment about Orings, this jack doesn't utilize any, nor did any jacks from that time period. :bounce:

Thanks for the info guys. Hiball, I've read some of the threads with your comments and I really appreciate your insight. I wondered if I was reading the tag correctly since it seems to have a scratch right across the number. I'll go back and search for 882 info. Many thanks!
