I purchased this just over a year and a half ago as a project.

Before I finished I got a good deal on a commercial grade Wilton variable speed drill press, which eliminated my need for the Walker Turner. Now its just taking up space I don't have in the garage.
I did a complete sandblast, repaint and cosmetic cleanup and new wiring.
The bearings appear to be original and the quill turns freely. The chuck is a JT33 and has a broken lock collar, it would need replacement.
The motor is a 1/2 Marathon with either a bad start capacitor or starter circuit, it will run with a spin start.
Overall it is in very good condition for being 70+ years old and would not take much to make this a very nice drill press.
