Hello all!

Been browsing CL and Ebay for a little while in search of a older drill press. Found this:

Looking at the condition, the motor is most certainly not original and the homemade belt guard is... interesting :headscrat . But for $100, is it worth it? I am currently located about 2 hours away from the seller so it should not be to bad to pick it up. Was looking to do a complete restoration but know that without a solid foundation to work on, not worth it. Opinions are very welcome!

Its not worth $100.00 to me without the original motor and switch, but it might still be a serviceable machine if that is what you are looking for.

I actually bought a 900 series this morning for $100.00, all original but missing the slow speed pulley.

I'd hate to think of this one ending up in a scrap yard but I think $75 would be a fairer price.
