Walker Turner DP question

I have a Walker Turner drill press that I am getting ready to restore. I am unsure of the model. Will try and determine that once I get it stripped down. It is a bench top model. My question is it currently is missing the return spring. Is there a cheaper alternative than a $65 replacement? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would think that figuring out the ID and length would solve the issue.
Springs are springs, nothing magical about it being from a Walker-Turner.

Is it just missing the spring or is the spring housing and other connection parts missing? Is the spring there and just broken?

Just the spring. I have the housing spring is missing completely.
