Anyone replaced quill spring on Walker turner 1113-41 with a after market one on Amazon? Or have measurements for replacement? Or item number. Thanks for any help. Bill

I've only ever replaced them with originals. Often the slot that the anchor pin is inserted in breaks. What you can do is simply drill another hole in the spring and re-use it. I've done this myself, but it is not as simple as it may sound. The spring is hardened steel, and drilling through it can be difficult. And positioning and securing the spring in a drill press can be difficult as well. But it does work if you do it right.

I've replaced a few quill springs on import DP's at work - I've just measured the case and found a generic replacement part that fits it.
Also like Maul said I've taken springs with the tail broken off, and heated and rebent the tail end and made it to work again. You may be able to find an OEM one on Ebay?
