Found this at an auction runs fantastic. It was super clean just used a little simple green to get some of the grease and dust off. It has that original vintage switch located under the table. Those things are like finding unicorn tears.

I have a Craftsman-branded version of that, probably about the same vintage, and the same dark blue color. Those are nice smooth machines.

Looks very nice. In the photo of the Walker-Turner tag, there are four small holes in the body of the saw that would indicate there used to be another tag there...I wonder what it was, maybe a tag for the company that sold it?

Of all the home woodworking machines in the known world, the frame of the Walker-Turner scroll saw is the most overbuilt piece I've ever seen. The actuating mechanism is just above average, but the frame could be repurposed as a small derrick. I keep mine around just because it is what it is.

I was wondering the same thing maybe a municipal ID or School they loved to ID and inventory their equipment.

I am restoring one of these currently.
Found the legs/table for sale and when I went to buy he asked if I wanted the saw too, then tossed a motor in for nothing.

As mentioned, very stout machines. Not as convenient as modern ones, but I'm hoping it will be a machine my boys (1.5, 4.5 & 6 yrs old) will be able to play with (under a watchful eye) and possibly take interest in more shop "toys".

Yours looks mint.
