I’m going to frame my garage attic for 50% office and 50%storage
The storage area will be uninsulated with a open ridge vent and soffit vents
What I need to know is can I vent a wall ac unit thru wall into uninsulatedarea and run a condensate out the side wall? Boss does not want an ac unit out the front of the house. We do have central AC but no way to extend to garage attic and would not want to over cool the house. I’m in northern Nj very humid summer

No. You will be surprised to learn how hot the air is exiting an AC unit. That heat and humidity will increase in a confined attic space and cause problems in an already hot attic.

Try this test. Buy a small AC unit and run it unvented into a closed bedroom. The heat and humidity will drive you out of the room in a short time.

Mini-split or install a window and place a window AC unit.

I think A/C units are typically rated as operating at 95F. Their efficiency really drops off after that.

I know of one here locally that is done like that. They had to install a booster fan and cut in a vent from the conditioned space to draw air through and up to keep temps in the chase down. It has been working like this for at least 3 summers now.
