Wall board

I live in Minnesota and thinking about DPI wall board over my sheetrock. Would it expand and contract and bend or separate at joints in the temperature changes? If you have these do they seam nice together or what would you recommend for the joints to look good? If you have any other recommendations on wall panels that are around $20 a sheet or so i would love to hear your thoughts.

I would think any processed sheet good would be plenty stable enough for what you are doing. now if you were asking about solid pine beadboard, that would be another story altogether...

another suggestion, not sure the look you are going for, but 1/8" luan is dirt cheap, and you can put furring strips every 2' to cover the seams and give it a rustic barn look with a little stain...saw that in a garage in a subdivision and it looked surprisingly good and cost something like $10 total per 4x8 section...

Looking at their website http://www.decpanels.com/consumer it appears they have many different styles, so it's up to your personal tastes. They also have recommendations for installation including how to treat the seams (they say leave a dime width gap, and paint that area first so it doesn't show.
