A local antique store has four of these sitting out front; they're asking $100 a piece. The have shelves inside and small shelves in the doors (forgot to get an inside pic...)

What think ye? Too much money?

Personally I would pass. Maybe $50 a piece.

Yup, not even sure I'd do $50.

You can find **** like that being thrown out, given away, or at a garage/yard sale for $20 if you keep an eye out.

At $100/ea., that's a bit pricey - at least IMO. Then again, I've paid a premium for items that I really, really want and are hard to find.

That being said, I have one of those cabinets that I purchased locally. The one I have (and others I've seen) do not have the white right door. Mine is orange-red and says "AUTOMOTIVE TUNE-UP PARTS" centered towards the top and then "BORG WARNER" with their symbol centered towards the bottom.

It's a nice cabinet though; the doors have shelving compartments.

Napa has a special, if you buy $250 worth of brake related parts they give you a cabinet like that included. I think the cabinet is around $39 with the brake parts. Look into it, but if it was me I would pass on those.

IMHO, they look about like a plain cabinet. For $400 I could make a nice bench and more cabinets. If they're you're cup of tea, make an offer on them.

Pass.

I purchased cabinets in nice paint with the original parts company decals out of a race fabrication shop for $6o each. Way nicer in the shop.
