so when i bought my house in colorado it has a finished garage with drywall and painted, the previous owner built some real sketchy shelves throughout the garage, i ripped them off the wall where all of my fab stuff is going and need to figure out a way to cover the holes up. i know i could repair all the drywall but i do almost all metal fab in my garage and at my last place welding slag and sparks tore up the drywall anyway, so im looking for a cost effective way to panel over the drywall, protect against sparks and slag and look decent, any ideas? i was thinking of getting thin plywood and fastening it to the studs and calling it good but please help with some input? thanks
