I need some lighting over my workbench. There is plenty of light when the garage door is closed as I have 12 4ft T8 two bulb strip lights mounted on the ceiling..Problem is with the door open, almost six of them get the light blocked by the door.
I am thinking of mounting a couple of additional strip lights on the wall above the workbench, adding an switch so I can turn them on only when needed.
Has anybody done this? I am wondering if the light is going to be direct enough or if it will just diffuse and not provide enough light over the WB?
