Any suggestions on a wall mount vac that has or can handle a 25 foot hose.
I have a shopvac brand wall mount now and I am not real impressed with. It works but i want a longer hose I don't feel it is worth buying it

A vacuum is a non positive displacement air pump. the vacuum (pump) pumps the air in the chamber ahead of itself (exhaust) It is the atmospheric pressure that blows into the vacuum hose and hopefully the rushing (velocity) air into the hose takes whatever you are trying to clean up with it.
The maximum vacuum a person can expect to get is never higher than the atmospheric pressure at your altitude.
So try to not get cheated by some vacuum sales BS of performance that is not possible.
I have an EASY-FLO built in vacuum in the shop and another in the garage., Made in Canada.

I always use my SHOPVAC. I have three of them. I may not have tried the built in vac, in the shop in a few years.

I have a Performax detachable wall mount.
I purchased extra hose so I could reach anywhere in the garage, and have about 25' total length.

This is the exact same unit I have, except as sold through Costco under a different name (VacMaster VWM510, since discontinued). I've had it since 2009 and I am thoroughly impressed with the suction, which is equal to or greater than the Sears shop-vac it replaced. The remote control on-off switch is an added bonus.

If you dont need water capability, you can look for a used central vac, I got a unit at a garage sale for $10 and then had to buy a hose.
