Our old cooler has seen better day so I'm replacing it with a new one this week. The new one has a larger through-wall portion so I have to re-frame the opening. Since I'm doing a new opening I was wondering if there's any good reason to keep it so low to the floor or if I can move it up closer to the ceiling? With it so low, we have to turn it off to eat dinner, but with it blowing over our heads we could just turn it to low speed and eat in peace.
Here's a pic of how it is now; it's covered for winter in this pic, but you can see how low it is. Any thoughts on raising it up to about even with the top of the window beside it?
