Wall paint= Like in what finish do you use for the paint on your walls. Gloss, Semi gloss, satin, egg shell.
I'm just funnin' wit ya.
Satin or eggshell finish usually. Trim usually done in a gloss or maybe a semi-gloss.
For walls, check for a 'washable/wipeable' paint. That will usually indicate that the resin/binder is durable enough to stand up to a wipe-down (after the paint film fully cures, which is
not just when the paint is 'dry').
Painting an entire wall with a gloss paint can have some drawbacks such as :
- the high-gloss finish will show
every ripple, bump, dip, wave, roughness, seam, and any other surface imperfection.
- a high-gloss finish can cause glare issues from lighting .
Your call and your wall.
Me, as I mentioned, typically go for walls in a satin or eggshell type finish. But a 'washable/wipeable' paint.
