In the process of doing a ground up resto of my garage.Going with Racedeck tiles, new cupboard fronts etc.I want to paint my walls, like many of you from the floor up,about 36" (or a height you folks would recommend). The floor has a fairly good slope for drainage, buy design of the previous owner.Should I just laser level a straight line across at the 36" mark,OR, parallel the slope of the floor?Walls are about 9' high.Garage is 23 ft long X 20' wide,& was going to measure 36" high at the 11.5' mark, laser a line & go from there.Thanx in advance crew, for any advice.

Yeah you should do it level.

Otherwise everything you hang on the wall that is level will look very odd with the paint.

Do it level. If you do it with the floor and the ceiling is level, if you stand in a doorway it will look like your garage is racked.

Dont worry to much if its slightly out of level, im sure in time after its painted the wall areas fill upquick and you really cant tell if there that little bit out:)
